Cookie Policy

This policy explains how Boomerang uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on boomerangcasino.sk. We set a small number of cookies to keep the site working and to understand how visitors use it. You control whether to accept them, and we'll show you how.
Cookies in plain terms
A cookie is a small text file saved to your device when you visit a site. It lets us recognise your browser on return visits so you don't have to log in repeatedly or reset your language preference each time. Cookies do not carry viruses and cannot access other files on your device.
Some are essential — without them, parts of the site won't load. Others help us see which pages get traffic and where improvements are needed. A third group comes from scripts we embed, like analytics platforms, and we don't control those directly.
What is stored and for how long
We use three categories of cookie on this site, and each has a different lifespan and purpose.
| Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Session management, security checks, load balancing | Session or up to 1 year |
| Analytics | Visitor counts, page views, referral sources | Up to 2 years |
| Marketing | Ad performance, retargeting, affiliate tracking | Up to 1 year |
Necessary cookies keep the portal functional. They remember whether you've accepted this policy, maintain your session if you're logged in to leave a comment, and prevent automated abuse. Blocking them will break parts of the experience, so they're set regardless of your consent choice.
Analytics cookies tell us which articles get read, how long visitors stay, and where they arrive from. We use this to write more of what's useful and less of what isn't. These require your consent and are not set if you decline the banner.
Marketing cookies track whether you clicked through from an affiliate link or an ad campaign. They also support retargeting — showing you relevant offers elsewhere after you've visited. You can decline these without affecting your access to content.
Embedded third parties
Some tools we rely on set their own cookies, and we have no direct control over them. This includes:
- Google Analytics for traffic measurement
- Advertising networks that serve display banners
- Affiliate platforms that track referrals
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy, and their cookies follow the rules set out there rather than ours. If you object to third-party tracking, browser extensions like uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger can block those scripts without affecting the rest of the site.
Declining without breaking the site
You can refuse non-essential cookies through the banner that appears on your first visit, or by adjusting your browser settings to block them entirely. Here's how to do that in the four most common browsers:
Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data → Block third-party cookies, or Block all cookies. The second option will log you out of most sites and require you to accept cookies individually each time you visit.
Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → choose Standard, Strict, or Custom blocking. Strict mode blocks all third-party trackers and some social-media cookies; Custom lets you pick exactly what to allow.
Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Block all cookies, or Prevent cross-site tracking for a lighter touch. Safari blocks most third-party cookies by default on both Mac and iOS, so you may not need to change anything.
Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies → Block third-party cookies, or see all cookies. The last option shows you which ones are active and lets you delete them site by site.
Blocking all cookies will prevent you from staying logged in, saving preferences, or using some interactive features. Necessary cookies remain active because they're required for the portal to function — declining them through the browser simply breaks the site rather than protecting you from anything.
Updates
We may update this policy when we add new tools or change how the site tracks visitors. The date below shows when it was last revised. If the changes are significant — for instance, if we start collecting a new category of data — we'll show a notice on the homepage rather than assume you've read an updated legal page.
